Kellan Hannah, co-founder of the indestructible massage tool thePnut, is on the pursuit to help others live a better, movement filled, life. Kellan caught the entrepreneurial bug early on; he was just a tot when he was refilling coffee creamers at his family's coffee shops. Three businesses later, Kellan changed gears and found himself at Shopify, where he created the VIP program and worked with influencers and media companies in North America and the UK. Outside of starting companies, Kellan is a certified kettlebell coach, has his black belt in karate and is currently teaching his puppy Charlie not to chew on his ears.
Born and raised in Ottawa, Naj Peterson is a Co-Owner of the city's newest fashion lifestyle boutique, Stomping Ground. A Carleton University graduate, Naj studied Economics and Commerce before narrowly escaping a career in finance.
Born and raised right here in Ottawa, Aaron Cayer has been skateboarding in the city for over 20 years. Several years ago he noticed a need for a voice for the skateboarding community. To fill this need he founded community based skateboard brand Antique, the Ottawa Community Skateboard Association (a non-profit skateboard association), and most recently the For Pivots Sake program which collects and refurbishes skateboard parts for those in need. With these business and social causes, Aaron works to better the local community, improve skateboard park management and helps connect local youth through skateboarding and play.
Geneviève Cholette and Nadine Atkinson, co-founders of TheBoxShop strive to showcase Canadian companies and simplify the art of giving with their thoughtfully curated gift boxes. They both grew up with parents who were entrepreneurs and knew from a young age that they wanted to eventually start their own businesses. Both began as accounting colleagues, quickly became friends and eventually business partners. As accountants they still enjoy crunching numbers but have put their creativity to better use with TheBoxShop.
