From Part-Time to Full-Time: The Art of the Side Hustle

Who doesn’t have a Side Hustle these days? A job on the side that you concentrate on after hours or in addition to your day job. But how do you make the leap from running a small but successful side hustle to quitting your real job (the one that pays all the bills!) and making what was once part-time now full-time? Most importantly, how do you make that transition sustainable?

We’ll be tackling these questions and more with a panel of entrepreneurs who have hustled hard to get their businesses where they are today! Join us in partnership with Futurpreneur Canada, the only national non-profit that provides resources, financing and mentoring to aspiring business owners ages 18 to 39, to talk about ways in which to take your side hustle to the next level! And hear the stories from entrepreneurs who have done just that!

In partnership with Futurpreneur Canada.

Community: Empowering Each Other

Nowadays we may feel connected via technology, but have we forgotten about the benefits of building a community in real life? `Finding people with common interests can help provide you with valuable feedback on your business. Not to mention, you can empower each other as you take on the world.

For some, it may feel daunting and you may not know where to start but don't fret! We've got you covered this month at our first event of the season. This panel will be one you won't want to miss with local and national community builders discussing their unedited views on the Ottawa community, share tips for how you can give back to your networks, and highlight how you can get the most out of the communities you belong to. You might even meet new folks to join your network as well.

We can't wait to see new and returning faces for our 2019/2020 season opener!
